French composer Yves Ramette presents these solo piano works, performed by Eric Himy

A listener can rightly understand Yves Ramette’s technique of creating music only by listening to his compositions for the piano. He uses harmonic sounds (the scale of the twelve sounds) and rhythmic freedom within the music. The piano, by nature, is the ideal instrument for expressing the composer’s musical intentions.

Yves Ramette is very sensitive about three things in his compositions for the piano:
