The White Trash Cowboys are best known for their bombastic, rock plus rap approach which turns punches against corporate America, government oppression into a Molotov cocktail of Aerosmith meets Kid Rock attitude, with an added redneck, southern american perspecive. The Cowboys were formed by Bryan Simons and Terry Martin who grew up together in Longview, TX. After several years of playing live shows, including opening up for big shots like The Marshall Tucker Band, Eddie Money, Sister Seven. The band cut a demo CD in Deep Blue Somethings recording studio in Dallas, TX. They found producer, David Eaton from L.A., and started the work. In February of 2007, Bryan met up with Bobby Blotzer (drummer for RATT), and brought him on to produce the other half of the CD. Bobby also played on six of the songs, contributing not only his great producing skills...but his incredible drums as well. They tapped into a variety of pro skill to help out with the recording including Dale Jennings (bass) from L.A., Jerry Scott (bassist for Bad Company, Molly Hatchet, Ratt), Tim Hogan (bassist for John Waite), and Steve Deboard (Slammin’ Gladys) on drums. The cowboys are happy to announce the release of their self-titled debut CD. We are currently shopping marketing/distribution companies. WITR DJ Jeff Saunders said he is giving the CD a Strong Review because quote: " It's Good to hear a band that knows how to Rock ! " " & their Lyrics are Intelligent " " And FUN ! "
