Brendan Angelides, aka "Eskmo" and "Welder", recently relocated to San Francisco from Connecticut. He is a writer, producer, graphic illustrator, photographer, and most recently has undertaken video shoots and editing. He has been writing and producing a number of styles of electronic music steadily since 1999 - from drum & bass to house, breaks, techno, downtempo, as well as ambient. The name of "Eskmo" is used for his aggressive breaks/drum & bass oriented sounds, and "Welder" is for his melodic downtempo, indie trip-hop, and urban-influenced world fusion.

From 1999 to 2004, Brendan traveled along the East Coast of the US as a live PA act featuring on-the-spot manipulation of songs with various keyboards, samplers, effects processors, etc. He has played in NYC, Philly, San Francisco, Hartford, and Boston, amoung other places. He has also worked in various studios throughout England and the United States with fellow artists. Under his Eskmo alias he currently has releases on UK labels Cyberfunk and Vertical Sound, NYC-based label Downbeat and just recently the Texas-based drum & bass label Freestyle Recordings.
