Ventilader manifests itself as a solid and coherent concept, accomplishing a perfect balance between traditional instruments and programming.

From different corners of Mexico, this band begins its history in September of 2004, when Jorge Marrón, originally from Acapulco, meets Mercy after watching him play drums at a local bar in his hometown of Monterrey. Both of them later decide to travel to Mexico City in search of new platforms. This is where they finally meet Chamín and Andrés who complement their sound on bass and guitar, respectively.

Ventilader later signs onto the indie label Noiselab and releases their album debut, Ápice (2007). On this record, Ventilader delivers 9 tracks that combine electronic textures with a subtle pop sensibility, coming together in a nostalgic tone and carrying the listener through universes that seem strangely familiar.

Recently, Ventilader played in the biggest music festival in Mexico, Vive Latino, and was also the opening act for the Swedish musician Jóse González.
