- ATHFEST 2008 CD Release Party is scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2008 at Tasty World in downtown Athens. It will be a free show featuring live performances several bands from the CD.

- ATHFEST 2008 CD will be released on May 6, 2008 to promote the 12th annual Athens Music & Arts Festival which is June 18-22.

- ATHFEST 2008 CD will be available at AthFest.com, Ghostmeat.com, select record stores, AthFest merch booths and globally via iTunes or your favorite digital music store.

- ATHFEST 2008 CD is the 20th compilation of local and regional music produced by Athens-based Ghostmeat Records which was founded by AthFest CD producer Russ Hallauer in 1994.
