The band was born in 1996 in Concepcion city, south of Chile. Two demos "You Decay" '96 and "Wrong" '97, were enough to make the band decide to relocate at Santiago.
In April of 1998 UDK recorded "Machines Breeding", a single co-produced by Rodrigo Contreras from Criminal, to promote the band on radio stations. Because of that, tons of shows through the whole country and during all these years were done, gaining enough experience to record at last: "HAND THAT FEEDS", the first UDK album released at the end of 2003 / beginning 2004 through the independent label Toxic Records.
The band filmed a video for the only spanish-singed song of the album named "Rechazo", and played shows in Argentina and Uruguay.
Few months ago, UDK parted ways with drummer Cristian Villagran, to be replaced by Omar Marchant former member from metal band Stomoxys.
About the new album, UDK has no news so far, drummer change retarded everything according to new recording sessions. Songs are waiting, we are just training Omar to have the new material 200% to go into some studio.
