The Scottish Enlightenment, a four piece comprising David Moyes, David Morrison, Michael Alexander and Karen Don were formed from the ashes of two previous bands from Dunfermline and Aberdeen. Early in their genesis they were overheard practicing in a garage in Dunfermline by AL and Neil from Moojuice Records who immediately signed them (this was in 2005) and since then have been quietly making a stir in the U.K and now the U.S.

Their first release is the "Eyes" e.p, an eclectic collection of trans-atlantic indie rock/pop, displaying an American indie melodic vulnerability, with a good helping of Scottish indie clatter, which mixes and explodes on record and on stage.
