The Munks began as a Sunday afternoon "jamming" experience- based around the unique songwriting of Aaron "Brother" Grimm and the laid-back drumming of Brooks Browning. As is with most burgeoning bands, the practice room wasn't enough and soon guitar whiz Alex Piazza and bassman Rich Dwiggins were in tow. Throw in some violin from Bennett Ryel and you've got The Munks. The musicianship is as solid as you will find in Little Rock and the sound has been described as "beyond description". The Munks have one album already finished and are looking to continue playing throughout the region into 2006-2007.
