Straight out of the town of Berkeley, The Morning Benders, formed by Chris Chu (vocals, guitar), have steadily been building up a reputation behind their powerful live shows up and down the Pacific coast. Joined by Van Pierzalowski on guitar, Tom Peyton on drums and Leo Kremer on bass, the foursome have created a sound that is truly their own. During the months of establishing a presence in the bay area, the band began to work on a self-produced EP that was to serve as a demo. They called it ‘Loose Change’ and after busting through a couple of pressings they teamed up with Portia.

This new release of their EP consists of the same five songs along with an extra track and new artwork. Although only a debut release which was recorded on an 8-track, ‘Loose Change’ is mature, consistent and demonstrates the talents these guys have for catchy pop influenced indie rock.
