That about sums it up.The Lancasters are exactly that - an Oi! band that aren’t afraid to mix it up a bit with some melody and some power behind their soon-to-be-classic, sing-a-long anthems. With former GLORY STOMPERS and SUBWAY THUGS frontman Greg leading the charge, this powerful 3-piece dishes out some memorable numbers with choruses that are likely to stick in your head for quite some time. Singing about everyday life on the streets and in the alleyways of any given city, the Lancasters are rough and edgy, whilst touching on many serious issues in today’s world. Make no mistakes - there is a message behind the Lancasters. Whether they mean to or not, this is one band that has something to say and says it loud and strong! As a relatively new band, the Lancasters have already written a number of incredible songs (12 of which are on this album for
your enjoyment!), played a number of shows locally in Vancouver as well as traveling to Edmonton for label-mates, the Wednesday
Night Heroes, recent CD release show and in doing so have gathered some rave reviews and established a hard-core fan base.
With the release of their debut full-length, the Lancasters will plan to be playing in Edmonton again soon and will be supported
by a promotional mail-out of the album as well as ads appearing in publications such as Razorcake, Caustic Truths, Vice, Punk
Planet, Fat City and more. There are also plans to license the album to a European label for further coverage of the globe!
