Belonging to the Mexican indie rock scene, Raul (bass), Fily (guitar), Rómulo (guitar) and Rubén (vocals/guitar) formed in Cuernavaca, Morelos on the year 2001.
Their peculiar sound, composed by a rhythmical drum base that seems to get along quite well with the bass-lines, and their marked rhythms potently arranged with sticky riffs and friendly guitars accompanied by a high toned, yet mellow, voice; altogether, turn up giving with a very special sound, that with a subtle touch of synthesizers support, harmonious chorus and unique sounds it empathizes with 80's dance music, indie rock and classic rock that irradiates a lot of energy.
Because of their affinity in music between the four members, the decide to start a band, that at first only did cover versions with original arrangements performing at bars and local venues under the name Zaratustra.
It was until they began writing their own songs and making presentations with original material that they started being listened to and finally consolidated as an indie band with an evolving music style.
Their innovative musical proposal has been released in several Mexican radio stations such as EXA Acapulco, Exa Cuernavaca, Reactor, Triple W 96.9fm, as well as television , IN-D, Channel 22, Channel 3 Morelos, Televisa Cuernavaca, etc. Ten:Fifteen has been reviewed in the Mexican press such as Rolling Stone Mexico, La Jornada, Sonika, GQ, Reforma, and more.
Ten:Fifteen has shared stage with some of the most important rock artists in México such as Zoé, Chetes, Jumbo, Kinky, Porter, División Minuscula, Los Dynamite, Los Odio, Joselo, Chikita Violenta, Ventilader, Thermo, etc... They have also won important music competitions, having a 1 st place in the semifinals for Mexico City's Rockampeonato Telcel 2006 and having a 3 rd place among 7 thousand indie bands within the capital.
TEN:FIFTEEN is about to release their debut, which will include 5 new songs, under Noiselab Records.
