Together with young guitar player and singer Jacky Woodridge, in 1989 Jimmy Duncombe (of Rock'n'Roll legend Jimmy & The Rackets) started one of the most successful country bands of all times in the Heart of Europe.
For over 8 years, they roamed the major festivals, stages and clubs of the Swiss and international scene, at last with their home base in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
As the first and only country band, they won the "Schlager-Barometer" of Swiss national Radio DRS in 1997 with their title Take It Easy.
Same year Jimmy & Jacky released their 4th album "Festival Favorites", which plays the most often requested festival hits and highlights out of SuperCountry's Live Show.
Since 1990 on the road of success, their shows carried away the audience. From the Swiss Alp Country Fun Fair in Grindelwald to the International Country Festival in Zurich, they belonged to the most popular bands of the local scene. With their fresh spontaneity and great Live Show, Jimmy and Jacky conquered the hearts of the cowboys and cowgirls, addressing a broad audience. Jimmy & Jacky were guests in Swiss national Television DRS and S4 in programmes such as "Traumpaar " (Dream Couple), "Sonntagsmagazin " (Sunday Magazine), "Country Road " and "Ladies Special " and had video clips on various music shows.
In January 1998 SuperCountry had their last concert. Since then Jimmy is a regular member of The Miriam Dee Band and has successful revivals with his Rock'n'Roll top act Jimmy & The Rackets. Jacky tours with her own band and released her first solo album in 2000.
