Sunbrain is the former band of Team Love recording artist David Dondero. Sunbrain's influential debut album, "Perfection Lies," was released in 1993 on New York's Grass Records. It is regarded by many as one of the most influential albums of the era. In the June 2004 edition of Spin Magazine, Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) named the album as one of his top-ten most influential albums alongside the likes of Elliot Smith, Pavement and John Lennon.
