Roll the Dice is a mixture of tuneful melodies and memorable lyrics
that instil into the listener vivid visions of the subject matter that Steve
both writes and sings.

The album includes Steve’s first single taken from the album,
Hail Caledonia. It is a tribute to Scotland and its people.

As a result of the excellent marketing &the sales of the single Steve was
invited to the USA by the New York Scottish Society where he
joined in the April 2008 Celebrations. He also played several hugely
successful solo gigs.

Aardvark’s Chairman Andy Reeve was quoted as saying, “We have a
modest little plan to make Hail Caledonia the number one un-official
song for Scotland and, who knows, perhaps one day, the official one”.

Steve lived in Scotland for a number of years and is a country from
where he gathered a great deal inspiration for his songwriting.

The second single ‘The Needs of the Many’, (also on the album), touches
on the more urgent priorities and imbalances of the world these days.
Other songs on the album include the raunchy and provocative title
track, Roll The Dice and the thought provoking ‘What About Life’. So
if it’s music with a subtle yet powerful message you are looking for
then this one is for you.
