SLIC ONE

Slic One is best known for his phenomenal track, Crook Dancin’, commissioned by EA Sports for their highly successful game, Fight Night Round 3, which featured other artistes such as Akon and Obie Trice.

Encouraged by the successful launch of his debut album, My Mind’s State, Slic One, teamed up with recording label, Method Recordings, to work on his second album.

Nu Day, the first track to be released from the forthcoming album, finds Slic combining orchestral strings with a hop hop beat, creating a refreshing original production. Slic One’s lyrical vibe adds the extra vibrancy to this hot, energetic club track.

Slic One, born to Nigerian parents, grew up in the US. Influenced by James Brown, the late Fela Kuti, and the 60s and 70s music scene, Slic has started to carve his own unique style into the hip hop arena. He is a highly talented lyricists and is determined to create a major buzz with his follow-up album, due early next year.
