Totus Amore features counter tenor, Ryland Angel with Les Folies Francoises. This collection presents the instrumental and vocal repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries performed with the same spirit, freedom and creativity that drove the musicians of the Grand Siècle.The title work of this disc, Totus Amore was a composition Scarlatti was particularly proud. It is his only published collection of sacred music, the Concerti Sacri of 1707–8.
