Ral Partha Vogelbacher are a 'they', not a 'he’.

Frontman and founder Chadwick Bidwell started out as a solo artist but gradually recruited other local musicians from the San Francisco Bay area to help him flesh out his songs. Eventually, these loose collaborations coalesced into on ongoing partnership with Thee More Shallows, a band whose debut album Bidwell released on his own Megalon label in 2002.

Several tours of North America and the UK have built them a cult following. Bidwell’s penchant for skewed pop and inventive lyrics have earned the praise of music writers and radio programmers across Europe and North America.

The latest album, Shrill Falcons, was released in Europe in April 2006 and will be released in North America in April 2007 on Monotreme Records.
