BIO:
POWERS COURT hail from the Midwestern United States and distinguish themselves from other bands in the genre with an eclectic mix of power, ferocity and melody. The band is driven by stellar musicianship and the utilization of Danie Powers’ four and one half octave vocal range and brutal guitar riffing, along with Steve Murray’s thunderous, precision bass lines. The recent addition of Daniel Nydick on drums adds a much needed burst of speed and exactitude.
Their self-financed, self-titled debut CD was released in 1996 and aroused the interest of Audioglobe/SRL-Dragonheart Records, who signed the band in 1999. Their debut effort was followed up with the 2001 release, ‘NINE KINDS OF HELL’ on Dragonheart Records. The CD, ‘THE RED MIST OF ENDENMORE’ is an astounding leap forward in the band’s creative progression.
*The full-length companion book, ‘The Red Mist of Endenmore’, is available through the band’s website.
