Four good fellas, all partners in music, meet at the restaurant „Au Pecheur“ in Faucogney et la mer. As they have successfully joined a sport fishing competition, knocking back plenty of Pastis afterwards, they decide once more to exchange their fishing rods with guitars and drum sticks. Still wearing fishermen’s boots, it’s off to the recording studio. With „in the shade“ they deliver a truly amazing debut album. All of the 14 tracks are shaped by the love for great pop songs and convince with their fantasyful musical elaboration.

All members in Pikes are all since decades in the sumps of the European music scenes on the way. They already managed to pull some principal fishes ashore, not only as anglers and musicians, but also as sound engineers and producers (among them Lovebugs, Supernova, Zhivago, Toxic Guineapigs and many more...). Also at live experience it is not missing to these Pikes. Thus they bring altogether reliably over 1000 gigs on the balance. Cheers!
