Deep, but dance-floor focussed roller. The track teases along with a selection of soul influenced samples and a filtered chord progression. The main bass drop provides an interesting contrast through the use of deep futuristic bass and snippets of tech influenced synths layered against smooth vocal samples. Futuristic vibes with soul attitude is what 'Inside Man' is all about.

Chilled out roller blending cutting edge drum'n'bass production with old-school atmospheric attitude. Like stepping back in time to good old days of LTJ Bukems 'good looking records' label, this tune features smooth jazz chords, atmospheric pads and a warm melodic bassline. The intro slowly layers up holding back from the main drum-break all the way until the drop when everything hits. Smooth dnb business.

Straight up liquid drum'n'bass roller designed for the dance-floor. A funky organ chord pattern kicks the song off with filtering drum layers and old-school ragga-jungle vocal snippets building up the mix. A short, quirky jungle style drop leads in the low modulating bass line and the smooth amen drum break sets the pace. Wait for the 2nd drop where the track hots up with a jazzy chords and a tricky build up.
"Wicked liquid roller with jungle vibes and nice jazzy piano. Smashing floors all across poland! def try it!"

Straight up liquid drum'n'bass featuring the vocal delights of talented Brisbane vocalist Steph Lees. Straight up two-step drum pattern moulds with hand-percussion rhythms and rich pad synths build as the vocal phrasing builds into a clever bridging lyric that introduces the bass drop. The remainder of the track shifts interest between instrumental and vocal sections with the vocal phrasing culminating in a beautiful middle middle 16 break down to introduce the the final phase of the track.
BIOGRAPHY - OPERON (AKA: ASHLEY HANSON)
DJ Operon has been a pillar of the drum'n'bass community in Brisbane (Australia) for over five years now. Alongside partner in crime DJ Erther, Operon is responsible for reviving a dead scene for this UK breakbeat sound in his home town. Lack of exposure to the genre and a poor selection of events compelled him to start his own parties which has led on to the highly successful 'Rude Bwoyz Monthly' events, which have now been running each and every month for the last five years. Drum'n'bass in Brisbane is now the strongest its ever been, with scores of talented young djs coming through the ranks and lots of exposure to the sound at many diverse dance events and clubs. His efforts have culminated with top support slots for renowned djs such as LTJ Bukem, Teebee, Aphrodite, Dom & Roland, and Pendulum, as well as a feature mix and interview on major national radio station 'Triple J' back in November.
A keen producer, Operon's name was pushed farther a field of Brisbane when one of his productions 'Regolith' was picked as one of 9 finalists for the 2004 'Connecting Beats' competition run by Nokia. The track featured on a CD alongside artists such as 'Motive' (dsci4) as well as instrumental hip-hop legend 'Katalyst', and received Australia wide distribution. More recently, Operon in collaboration with top Brisbane vocalist 'Manta Ray' (My Ninja Lover) has had his production 'Airports' signed with UK label 'Phuzion Records', the 12" promo getting to No.15 on the Juno charts in it's first week! The label is owned and managed by the legendary DJ Nookie, famed for his seminal releases on LTJ Bukem's Good Looking imprint. Nookie has been pushing the tune on his MOS radio show and at many European dnb events to fantastic response!
