Mystfied began his involvement with music over 20 years ago as a pianist and trombonist. He was trained in jazz, classical and marching band music, and learned how to read and write musical notation.

Several years of experimentation with guitar and bass guitar led him to computer-based composition. Mystified experimented with cutting and pasting samples into a PC interface, creating evocative sound sculptures.

After going through an extended techno-industrial phase, Mystified was then introduced to the life-changing music of Robin Storey of Rapoon. Robin and he collaborated on a remix project, and since then, ambient and more downtempo genres have been his preference.

His recent successes include placement in Spin Magazine, as well as being listed in the catalog of the prestigious Soleilmoon Records.
