Mike O’Neill achieved success and critical acclaim with The Inbreds (www.inbreds.com) in the 1990's, releasing four albums and touring internationally. His first solo album, What Happens Now?, was released in 2000, and garnered the approval of noted fans Dave Grohl, Gord Downie, Jack Black and Matthew Sweet. The Owl carries on the tradition of strong melodies, layered harmonies, and innovative instrumentation.

The Owl, the second solo release from Mike O'Neill, cements this artist’s reputation as one of Canada’s most talented and respected songwriters. The album was crafted over two years in O’Neill’s home studio and showcases his skills as a multi-instrumentalist and producer, as well as his ability to compose catchy, thoughtful and disarming melodies. One notable exception to the all-O’Neill project is Matt Murphy (Super Friendz, Flashing Lights), whose guitar skills are featured on ‘She Believes in Me’.
