Mic Mell stands for musical diversity, and the power of artistic collaboration and community. Mic’s musical journey has included playing organ with Vocalization - a community hip-hop open mic night, keyboardist for reggae artist Rising Lion, playing in organ trios, jazz bands, and a bunch of rock bands He has also spent time touring as a solo electronic artist.

Never content to be a one trick pony, Mic is always searching for new musical experiences, and he is a firm believer that one’s life defines the tone of their art. Mic strives to create music that is not easily pigeonholed by genre but always stays true to a danceable nature. He has written and produced over a dozen albums both in collaboration with others and solo, spanning rock, funk, hip hop, jazz, electronic music, dub, reggae, experimental noise, and more. Mic has toured across the US with a variety of acts.
