merci Miss Monroe were born on the last day of the 2000 from the intentions of Matteo Fabio and Davide, boys coming from the dissolution of two punk bands (Snare & Frogs).

The separation from the music proposed with their previous groups was clean and represented the winning move: the three went hunting for softer melodies where harmony is unavoidable, a mix between classic brit pop and american indie underground influences. The band paints soft drawings as well as powerful sparkling easy-listening songs. Easy but never banal.
