DETAILS was inspired by the book "Works . Texts . to 1974" by the artist Tom Phillips. 'He has produced a series of fifty
recapitulatory paintings, in which he revisits all the styles,
manners, experiments and mistakes of the preceding twelve years activity.' In my case this is (on Details 1&2) thirty-three works from the years 1979 to 1988.
