As an aerial and remote-sensing specialist, she was first assigned to Vegetation Production Biosphere #183 for electromagnetic spectrum analysis, sonic exploration and biodiversity investigations.

Within this self-sustaining ecological system, containing a rainforest, 850 square meter ocean, 1400 square meter fog desert, and 3000 square meter agricultural system complete with Mini Moog, Opus 3, and analog delay, MARY ST JOHN performed analysis, design and system optimization.

Although exemplary work was completed, audio electronics recordings emerged by MARY ST JOHN during assignment debriefing that demonstrated a direct violation of INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION protocol and prohibited involvement in a company sponsored study.
