Folk-rock collaboration.

In November 2000 I was asked to play at a festival in Florida as part of a protest gig to stop a cement factory being built on the Itchatuckne River. Needing a guitarist, I asked Quentin, even though we had hardly ever played together. After the festival we found we had enjoyed playing together so much that we decided to make an album. This is it. Most of my tunes had been lying dormant for many years as I felt they just didn't fit into albums I recorded in the past, and as for Quentin's - well now, there's a story! So just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Quentin Cooper has been playing music for the last 16 years, having grown up in Peru (Peruvian mother), and moving back to Ireland at the age of 11. He started playing electric guitar with a boarding school band at 16, after a few other rock bands he moved to Liscannor in Co. Clare where he started taking up acoustic instruments like the guitar and mandolin, unbeknown to him he was surrounded by traditional Irish music and started to join in the local pub sessions, he has learned all of his traditional music in Co. Clare from many people including the Céilí Bandits, and the local musicians around Doolin too.
