This record features two songs from the Lures. The Athens, GA quartet made the recordings with Andy LeMaster (Bright Eyes, Drip, Now It's Overhead). The songs are pop-rock heavy on melody, harmony and guitars. "Not Coming Down" demonstrates a love for pure, Beatles-esque hooks while the B-side, "Dashlight," is slower, darker and more obtuse. Both songs were included on the band's debut album "When I Was Broken" released in 1999 on New York's Ten 23 Records.
