Love Vigilante sounds the way San Francisco feels. Or at least the dreamy northern soul of San Francisco that exists in the minds of its native son Delfin Vigil and his Bay Area-born-and-raised blood brother K.C. Staubach.

Delfin and K.C. met in 1991 during Mr. McKeon's advanced 10th grade literature class. They immediately formed an after school speech and debate club, discussing the most politically volatile issues of the time. Like Ian McCulloch's coats, Lou Reed's mullet, and the beautifully lazy singing of Bernard Sumner.

The club eventually graduated into a band that lingered on through some fun and sometimes unforgettable moments. After what was supposed to the band's three-hour tour, the song-writing duo suddenly jumped ship and swam off the coast of the Island of Incognito to record an album together that should be filed somewhere between Echo & the Bunnymen, New Order and the Velvet Underground.

Love Vigilante is two best friends who have spent the past year-and-a-half recording songs they hope will live forever in your record collection paradise on earth.
