Inheritors of the musical tradition of the Huasteca, this group from Hidalgo and Veracruz, was founded in 1979. Los Tres Huastecos: Manuel Fernandez, Humberto and Germán Meneses, recorded their first disc in 1983. Theirs is an important Mexican popular music style.
