Since forming in 1994, Los Straitjackets have taken guitar instrumentals to places uncharted since the heyday of The Ventures. They are on their way to achieving their stated goal of stage, screen and TV stardom. They stand tall as the most successful masked band in history.

On stage, the band has taken their high-energy show back and forth across the country—pummeling audiences into submission with their unique brand of surf-instro-rock. They have headlined clubs from coast to coast and shared bills with the likes of Tom Petty, Reverend Horton Heat and Link Wray as a support act. The band has toured Spain, Mexico and the Netherlands, and spent a memorable 2-week stint in a Moscow nightclub.

On TV the band made 4 memorable appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. They also guested on USA's Pacific Blue, MTV's Oddville and received video play on MTV's 120 Minutes and M2. Their music has been heard on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Good Morning America.

On the big screen, tracks have been featured in numerous feature films and movie trailers, including Two Days in the Valley and Meet The Parents. They have a supporting role (as "the band") horror/beach movie parody Psycho Beach Party (from Charles Wolfe—the creator of the longest running Broadway play of all time Vampire Lesbians of Sodom).

Seeking new challenges, the band has focused their attention on the sports world. A song was featured in a giant video presentation at the Atlanta Olympics and they recorded a theme song for ESPN's X-Games.
