Longhouse members Brandon Friesen and James Creasey are no strangers to the music industry. If you have an hour or so we love to tell you about their long list of awards; first there are multiple Juno Awards, and Grammy nominations, Blizzard awards, and PMA’s Engineer of the Year, to list a few. Brandon has always been inspired by First Nations culture and music and is responsible for the conception of this project. Brandon enlisted the help of longtime friend and peer, James Creasey and invited him into the studio. Together, under the name Longhouse, the pair composed A Warrior’s Journey, the first of a trilogy of new age, instrumental music. A Warrior’s Journey is an eclectic mix of First Nations traditional singing with flute and soundscape music that will take you on a mystical ancient journey.
