Kingbastard - Are Your Ears The Same As Mine. CCT is fast becoming one of the UK's most infulential electronica labels and we're pleased to bring to you one of our newest artists Kingbastard. Kingbastard also known as Chris Weeks has been writing music for the past 6 years and he is definitely one of THE artists of the future. Radio 1s Rob Da Bank said of him "IF I HAD A BLANK CHEQUE I'D SIGN HIM" so CCT decided to take his advice. Among Kingbastard's many accolades was winning demo of the month on Ninja Tunes "Solid Steel" for his experimental glitch track Sadmachine which features on this album. We firmly believe that Kingbastard is a star of the future and part of his cutting edge comes from the great diversity in his work. As well as forward thinking electronica, Kingbastard also writes some fantastic acoustic alternative material which show's a different side to this multi-talented artist. tracks are Beware Of The Bastard, The October Lighthouse, Sadmachine, Hexyl Cinnamal, Forgetmenot (White Airport), Tesselate, kidRobot, Sleep Tight
Kingbastard - My Head Is A Balloon This is the 2nd album by Kingbastard on CCT Records and with it Chris Weeks shows us his more eclectic side that introduces us to some excellent vocal tracks and acousitc guitar work. If one was to draw any similarities with Radiohead's Kid A album then they wouldn't be far off the mark. We here at CCT firmly believe that Kingbastard is going to be a household name in the future and that this album will be considered a modern classic in years to come. Tracks are: Artificialite, DeadDuck, Walls Have Ears. How Was Your Day?, In Your Book, When The Kids Get Old, Matuit, A Thousand Ears, Back To The Front, sorry
