The young rising star of the cello, Johannes Moser is not by any means content to limit his repertoire to the standard Romantic “war horses.” His previous critically acclaimed releases exhibit not only his wonderful talent but an adventurous spirit in programming. This adventurous spirit is evident once again in this, the second volume of “Brahms and his contemporaries". As with the previous volume, Moser continues to explore the lyric tradition of Brahms his friends, rivals and musical descendants.
