INNER SHRINE, the journey so far….

Inner Shrine comes from Firenze, Italy. The first step of the band is the first cd “Nocturnal Rhymes Entangled in Silence” in 1997, a work which shows a unique and peculiar sound from the very beginning, an album full of emotions, romanticism, Classic music influences and sheer brutality, with an interesting use of female operatic voices and male voices in death/black metal style. The album is very well received, especially by the magazines specialized in gothic, dark, progressive and extreme metal. The band plays in some selected gothic/metal clubs, creating a special atmosphere. Soon after the release of the first album, the band starts writing new material and, after a long work, records its second album “Fallen Beauty”, a work more focused on gothic sounds and with a lot of moody and interesting acoustic parts, an imposing album for the originality of its concept and songwriting.
