Guy's music can best be described as melodic, refreshing, world and instantly enjoyable. Catchy, rhythmical and not unlike the music of Karunesh. Exotic and full of flavour as it flows along taking you the journey.

From childhood music played a very important role in Guy's life and he spent many hours listening to both pop and classical music. By the age of 16 Guy had become an active musician and composer.

Guy's first creations were in the style of dance-music. Most of these tracks were broadcast on Maasvallei Radio.

In 1993 Guy decided to focus on totally different styles of music, including New Age Music. By the year 2000 he decided to concentrate only on composing New Age and World music, which he felt gave him much more freedom to express himself without the obligation to constantly keeping up with new musical trends, which is always the case in the Dance-scene.

Guy's main instruments are the piano and the synthesizer. Synthesizers made it possible for him to fully orchestrate his music, without the need of hiring musicians. Guy's musical inspiration comes from many different interests in life such as the Middle-Ages and the music of that time, traditional Asian music, Jazz and classical music.

Guy was also the winner of the online MG MUSIC NEW TALENT competition.

GAYA OF WISDOM is Guys first release and it is an impressive debut. Without doubt I am sure Guy has a wonderful career in music ahead of him and we are pleased to welcome him into the MG Music family.
