Greg Abate's music is direct and understandable, beautiful and relaxed to which Greg's previous Candid albums provide excellent testimony.

This third Candid date Greg pairs with another unashamed bebop master - Richie Cole. The two reed men have worked together on and off for several years now. As Greg says "We feed off each other very well -Richie's a great player. I like his energy and his sound." Chris Neville features on piano, Paul Del Nero on bass and Artie Cabral on drums.

Greg plays here almost the entire saxophone family in a stimulating programme ranging from the roaring 'Fast Lane Rhythm' with Richie to his beautiful ballad.
