Gentle ocean waves sweep across a sandy beach at sunrise. Dunes is a companion portrait.

The weather and sea conditions were perfect that morning--widely spaced waves swept singularly across the smooth sand. There was no wind, rare for open beaches, so I removed the windscreens from the microphones allowing every detail to be recorded. At the conclusion of this hour long session I snapped this photo.
