A welcome return for Georgie Fame’s superb 2001 album ‘Relationships’, which has been out of print for several years. Recorded in 2000 with Georgie’s regular band, which includes numerous luminaries of the UK jazz scene including trumpeter Guy Barker and saxophonists Peter King and Alan Skidmore, alongside Georgie’s two sons Tristian and James.

Recorded in 2000 with Georgie’s regular band, which includes numerous luminaries of the UK jazz scene including trumpeter Guy Barker (who has had a recent hit with his album ‘The Amadeus Project), and saxophonists Peter King and Alan Skidmore, alongside Georgie’s two sons Tristian and James.

Georgie Fame was a successful pop artists during the 1960’s and enjoyed 3 UK number 1 hit singles, including “The Ballad Of Bonny and Clyde’, which also hit number 7 in the USA. He has collaborated with some of music’s most successful names. He played organ on all of the Van Morrison albums between 1989–1997, and served as the musical director. Fame was also founding member of Bill Wyman's early band Rhythm Kings and he has also worked with the likes of Count Basie, Gene Vincent, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters and the band The Verve.

Georgie has also led a successful jazz group, mainly performing his own compositions and selected covers, of which comprises this album – displaying his witty lyrics and the faultless timing and delivery which has made him such a popular recording artist.
