Eddie hooked up with British producer Barry Murray and mixer Mark Taylor to record a new millennium version of Knock On Wood. Eddie cut the vocal in Montgomery, Alabama – mixing and programming were done in London.

Soul fans have known Eddie Floyd for six decades. His signature song, “Knock On Wood” (co-written with Steve Cropper), has been a Soul staple ever since it was released 40+ years ago. It has been covered by over 150 different artists including Count Basie, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, and Amii Stewart, whose global mega-smash in 1979 defines the Disco era. Now Eddie gives us four superb new dance mixes of his classic that will take us through the next 40 years at least.
