Following the success of the Dorothy Squires album 'I Am What I Am' (President PCOM/PTLC 1152) the present compilation comprises two of her big selling albums namely ''Rain, Rain Go Away'' and ''The Seasons Of''.

''Rain, Rain Go Away'' was recorded and released in 1977 and was voted the Top Middle of the Road Album of that year. It was intended to accompany Dorothy's autobiography of the same title which has never been published. ''Rain, Rain Go Away'' was a self-financed project and Dorothy chose one of the all time greats of British music, Norman Newell for the role of producer. The hit single ''For Once In My Life'' came from the 1969 album ''The Seasons Of'' opening an impressive run in the charts for Dorothy during 1969-1970.
