Susan Goodman Sings With Cameos By Dickie Goodman
Susan Smith Goodman was a popular singer songwriter from the NYC Supper Club Circuit. In the late 50's and early 60's, she was an opening act for many famous performers of the day. NYC newspapers reported on her performances before, Eddie Fisher, Frank Sinatra and Liberace to name a few. Before going on to contract with Playboy Clubs, Susan made records with infamous record moguls of the day like Howard Greenfield, Bill Buchanan, Ahlert and Caldwell, Bill Ramal, Donnie Kershner and Morris Levy. Susan released records with labels such as Roulette, Diamond and Mercury. Ironicly Susan's introduction to Dickie Goodman came from Dickie's former partner Bill Buchanan who Susan had just recorded a solo break-in record for. This album is a compilation of Susan's songs, released and un-released with some participation from Dickie Goodman. Some of it is novelty type stuff but the rest is just good music.
