i am a Solo artist. if you ever hear or read Darlington referred to as a "band" , that is incorrect! i am a solo artist with a backing band which changes frequently! i write songs. i play instruments. i record albums. my lyrics are about me, things i like, people i know or do not know, things i observe, and more. my likes, dislikes, pet peeves and loves. i am influenced by the world around me.i am living , breathing art and expression. i am unique...i make my own rules and don't answer to anybody for anything..i'm a contradiction in terms. i break down all social barriers and walls. I'm a Freedom Fighter. Leftist Radical. Animal Lover. i love all kinds of music. i wish we could all spontaneously break out into song and dance like they do in musicals, because i love musicals. i also love the opera, classical music, anything poppy. i like anything with cool guitars and melodies and singing.
