Being the grandson of Will W. Slater who wrote "Walking Alone At Eve", DAVID SLATER has a rich heritage in religious music. Inheriting both ability and interest, David left his mark early in life, having won the nationally televised STAR SEARCH program.
In addition to his success on STAR SEARCH, he wrote the music to the title song of this album "Since Jesus Is My Friend".
David's singing talent is expressed in this recording in another way. On six songs he sings solo or all the harmony parts.
