The band existed formerly as Midnight Triton and was making music in and around Seattle when their best friend and band mate committed suicide. That same year, frontman, Jeremy McDermott gave birth to his first child. The obvious juxtaposition of life and death set the stage from which “Things Change” was born. The album is intimate and so full of raw emotion, that you might feel like you’re listening in on something you shouldn’t.
