Debut album from Best Female MC at UK Hip-Hop Awards 2005

Nottingham’s C-Mone has been busy earning her stripes on the hip-hop underground for a while now: one-quarter of now-legendary Notts supercrew Outdaville, releasing records and touring the lengths n breadths of the UK’s clubs and radio stations in the process; later going solo with several EP releases, both on Son Records and her own label Dark Whisper Records; collaborating with Estelle on her debut CD and Mike Skinner on The Streets’ second album, and then starting off 2005 with a win at the UK Hip-Hop Awards as Best Female Emcee 2005.. since then she’s collaborated on a to-be-released cover of ‘Rapper’s Delight’ (originally recorded for 1xtra) alongside Sway and Klashnekoff and other uk hip-hop mainstays and had her music featured on film (the recently released ‘Life & Lyrics’), dvd and xbox 360 game ‘Project Gotham Racing 3’..

All good so far, but we feel like the best is yet to come, in fact its right here, with C-Mone’s debut album , ‘The Butterfly Effect’, an album of the most passionate, intelligent and honest hip-hop out there right now.
