By Symmetry existed from 1996-1999, the sole product of which was the Math of Birds EP, described by one listener as "eight minutes of bliss" and another as "a religion". Composed of future members of the Forms (Ecco Teres) and the Desert Fathers (Acquaman), the music could be described as a cross between My Bloody Valentine and AC/DC . (Yes, such a thing is possible.) The title track features vocals by Forms vocalist Ecco Teres.

Several 4-track tapes made by the band are extant, and will be put up eventually. Some of these songs were meant to be recorded as part of the Math of Birds EP, but somehow didn't make it. Others were just ideas that were never fully formulated. The record was the first Threespheres release over the past few years.
