A series of murky tales of wrist snapping pain: abuse, infidelity, aggressive paranoia, helpless introspection and sex.

On the back of their first two singles and album, Bonemachine are set to release their second album "Why Can't We Catch the Liars".

WCWCTL tells murky tales of wrist snapping pain: abuse, infidelity, aggressive paranoia, helpless introspection and sex. An industrial grind, mixing skuzzy electronics with waves of calm.

This ten-track album includes the single “Red Light Receiving” released on Hackpen Records in August 2006.

Bonemachine grew out of Portsmouth's underground dance/electronic scene. Having no drummer they fuse layers of sampled loops and rock guitars with an array of acoustic instruments including harmonica, mandolin and bowed double bass. Also joining bonemachine on WCWCTL is the acclaimed jazz saxophonist Johnny Lippiett.

Bonemachine joined Hackpen Records in 2003. Their first single "Another Day Over" was taken from the critically acclaimed debut album "Vent" followed by an MP3 download EP on Oxford’s fiercely independent, Shifty Disco Records (remixed by 80’s cult stars, Sigue Sigue Sputnik).

Describing their music as ‘indietronica’, Bonemachine have attracted great reviews from both the indie rock press and the dance community alike.
