Blake9, a DJ/Producer located in Arlington, VA. He primarily on the SP1200 however has been doing a MPC 2000 / SP1200 fusion. He works with Comel_15 from a group in LA called Time Machine. Blake9 and Comel_15 are Nine:Fifteen. Nine:Fifteen is a hip hop duo that Comel_15 and Blake9 started in Washington DC. He also work and record with other local MC's like Pasha the eMCee, Jihad and Stylus Chris of Defined Print, Mike the Finite, Seez Mics, Flex Mathews, and Radel Esca. Blake9 also works with Mad Squirrel, Prego, and Edison Victrola from the Forrest Fires Collective. Mad Squirrel and Blake9 are in a group called The Acorns. Blake9 runs a record label called Candlewax Records. Blake9 and Count Bass D have a record out now called "Art For Art's Sake". He have an album out on Candlewax Records with Mad Squirrel called Dropping From The Trees. As well as a few some mix cds, a 7inch record featuring Olive Green from San Francisco and a 12inch record out with his group Nine:Fifteen.
