Chiming guitar pop/rock with killer songs and wonderful vocal harmonies!

Bhagavad Guitars were based around the songwriting of John Kilbey (brother of Steve Kilbey from the Church) and Jeremy Butterworth. They set off to mark out a different territory to the Church but fans of the latter should find something to like in these chiming tracks. This album sat on the shelves for five years - caught up in legal wrangles with the record label. It finally came out but too late for the band that had by that time gone their separate ways. It is produced by legendary Tony Cohen. (Nick Cave, Go-Betweens etc) It is full of great songs, wonderful guitars and beautiful harmonies. The high point of their recorded output.
